Eva Barkat
Date: 2/25/2018
Eva and her family are special friends to our church. Over the past few years, Eva has sensed God directing her toward the launch of a Christian orphanage in her home country of Pakistan. While there are no official statistics available, conservative estimates suggest that Pakistan has over four million orphans within her borders. These orphans are a somber reminder of the ethnic and sectarian killings, acts of terror and natural disasters like floods and earthquakes that have plagued the Pakistani people for so long now. Sadly, there is no national policy or protective legislation in Pakistan for the protection of orphans. What an amazing opportunity we have to express the love and mercy of Jesus to a population of people who need to see Him at work in tangible ways.
