Missions and ministry are what we’re about, and how we want to define ourselves as a church. Whether we’re building a house in Mexico or handing out water to shoppers on a hot Georgia day, we want the benefactors of the effort to understand the love of Christ through our actions.
Why do we serve?
- We want to follow Jesus' earthly example
Jesus said, "...just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." (Matthew 20:28)
- We want to be a missional church
A missional church is a body of believers that chooses to join God in his redemptive mission here on earth. This is why we exist.
- We believe in using our spiritual gifts
Every believer is transformed, uniquely gifted, and empowered by the Holy Spirit to serve Jesus by serving others.
Where do we serve?
No matter what your gift or passion, there is a way for you to get involved...
- In the Church Body (Romans 12:6-8)
There are a variety of ministries that help support the infrastructure of our church and keep it running smoothly - Children's Ministry, Media Team (lights, sound, and computer support), Nursery/Preschool Ministry, and Sunday Morning Set-up Team just to name a few. If you would like to volunteer, let us know by clicking here...
- In the Community (1 Peter 4:10)
Serving our neighbors by meeting their needs in simple, practical ways. Whether its serving with our Monday Missions program, ministering to the homeless in Atlanta, or helping support local organizations such as the Real Life Center and Fayette Samaritans, we strive to faithfully administer GOD's grace by being the hands and feet of Jesus.
- Throughout the World (Matthew 28:19)
Do you feel a calling to touch the lives of those outside our borders? Global missions give us an opportunity to minister to and impact people throughout our world, just as Jesus commanded us. Rolling Hills helps support international mission organizations such as Operation Mobilization and Casas por Cristo through regular giving, praying, and by sending volunteer teams to participate in mission projects.
